Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book an appointment with you?
The only way to book an appointment with me is by submitting a booking request form during the open booking period. My books typically open every 3-4 months.
Email subscribers receive early access to my booking request form, and books are typically filled within 30 minutes to an hour. If my books have not been filled during this time period, then the form will become available to the public via a link in my Instagram bio and the “Book With Me” page on my website.
To receive early access to my books and notifications, subscribe to my email alerts.
Please note that this is the ONLY way to book with me. I do not read emails or DMs explaining tattoo ideas ever. I will only read your tattoo concept if you fill out a form.
This is an important way for me to maintain healthy boundaries within my work. Thank you for understanding!
Once you have submitted your request, please allow up to 2 weeks for a response, and be sure to check your junk mail! If you have not heard from me within that timeframe, it means that I was unable to take your project on this time around.
Pricing Info
If your request is accepted, I will require a $100 deposit ($200 for large customs) via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle before confirming your appointment date.
This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and comes out of the total cost of your tattoo.
I work on a flat rate basis. My rates typically follow this structure:
Cash: $180/hr to $200/hr depending on the project size, amount of detail, placement, etc.
Card: $215/hr
The average project I take typically ranges from $200-$1,500. Pricing is dependent on a number of different variables but generally looks like this:
Small
(1"-3") ......................………........... $200-$300+
Medium
(3"-6") .....................………............ $300-$800+
Large
(6"-12") ........................……….... $600-$1,200+
X-Large
(half-sleeve)…………………...$1,500-$3,000
(full back)…………………...….$3,000-$6,000
Bigger projects can be split up into half or full-day sessions and paid as you go, or we can devise a payment plan for you.
Half Day Rate:
$800
4 hours of tattoo time. Up to 5 hours of work total, including stencil time.
Full Day Rate:
$1,500
Time: Usually 9am-7pm(ish)
8 hours of tattoo time. Up to 10 hours of work total, including stencil time.
When filling out your booking request form, you will be asked to include your budget. Please know that I work really hard to respect your budget and stay within your means.
I occasionally offer a sliding scale rate to clients who may not have the privilege to afford my pricing. These sliding scale rates are prioritized towards BIPOC and trans/non-binary clients.
If I'm stoked about your project idea but the funding isn't there– accommodations can be made! There is a section in my form that allows you to apply for a sliding scale rate.
Can I See My Design Ahead of Time?
Starting in 2024 I will no longer be offering this as a service.
My booking process is extensive for a reason. In addition to filling out my form, clients are encouraged (and sometimes required) to complete a consultation with me before booking. This will give us an opportunity to talk one-on-one and hash out the details of your project.
Once an email thread has been created, you are always welcome to send additional reference images and information. The more the merrier, IMO.
(Yes, you can send me your Pinterest board)
After that, any changes you see fit can be made on the day of your appointment when we go over your design together.
I am a very flexible person and ultimately, I want you to love your design. That’s why it’s essential that you are descriptive and concise in your initial booking form.
What if I don’t like my design?
I will never take offense to you disliking my design or wishing to make changes. However, I do ask that you thoroughly research my work and make sure that I am the right artist for you before booking with me. I work best when there is a mutual trust between me and the client.
Should you decide that you don’t love the design, we will address whether a re-draw, cancellation or reschedule is in order. In the event that you cancel, your deposit will be forfeited.
Where are you located?
I currently tattoo at Witch of the West Tattoo and Art Collective in Fort Collins, CO. The address for the studio is
706 S. College Ave, Suite 204, Fort Collins, CO 80524
If you have an appointment scheduled with me, you will receive an email the day before your appointment with detailed instructions on how to access the studio. Please note that Witch of the West is a private studio and
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do not accept Walk-Ins.
Can I bring a friend to my appointment?
Yes. One guest is allowed to accompany you to your appointment. Please keep in mind that our studio is quite small. Guests must respect the space and not disturb the other clients or artists.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia, or any form of discrimination. If you or your guest fail to comply with this policy, you will be blacklisted from our studio.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me a 48-hour notice. I understand that sh*t happens. I am willing to be lenient if you are experiencing an emergency, sudden illness, unsafe driving conditions, etc. However, please be communicative and respectful of my time.
If given at least a 48-hour notice, I will reschedule you free of charge. A cancellation of your appointment will result in a loss of your deposit.
Additionally, If you are late more than 15 minutes without giving me a heads up, it will result in a loss of deposit. Please DM me on Instagram or email me to let me know if you are running late.
Do you tattoo in color?
I am just recently exploring more with color, so if you'd like to incorporate some pops of colors or solid colorwork into your design, I may be interested! I will always be honest with you about where my skillsets are at, and how that relates to your project proposal.
Please note that I typically only work in black and grey, so if you're looking for a full color tattoo I suggest you find a different artist.
Do you fix tattoos/cover-ups?
Depending on the project, yes! Please submit a request during my open booking period and include a photo of the tattoo you are wanting covered up.
Do you offer silent appointments?
Absolutely! I will never be offended if you don't feel like talking. Your intake form has a discreet “silent appointment” option, or you can bring headphones if you want to tune out for a bit. I will only bother you to ask important questions pertaining to your tattoo.
How can I get in touch with you?
The only way to get in touch with me about tattoos is by filling out my booking form once my books open. As a gentle reminder, I will never read an email or a DM explaining a tattoo.
This is a hard boundary moving forward.
Please respect it and fill out my form.
If you violate this boundary, it shows me that you don't really respect it– and makes me a lot less inclined to work with you in the future.
